SUMMARY
The Adriatic Line is one of the most important Italian gas transport projects ever undertaken, the largest in the last 10 years. Its aim is to increase by 10 billion cubic metres per year the transport capacity of methane along the south-north route and, in particular, along the Adriatic section from Sulmona (Abruzzo) to Minerbio (Emilia-Romagna), in order to increase the flexibility of the infrastructure system with which Snam guarantees the country's gas supplies.
